After the excellent Iive LP, Batchas is finally back with some new and very powerfuI studio recordings! From the previous releases we allready know that Noise Museum pays a lot of attention to the packaging of its records, and the promo copy we received is again a pure feast for the eyes. It 's tastefully packed in a plastic bag filled with white sea sand and shells. While you listen to the CD, your children can build themselves a huge sand castle, so everybody is happy.Batchas has once more appeared on the stage during the second edition of The Festival des Musiques Ultimes, to reconfirm the success of their 1995 performance. Whether there will also be a recording available documenting this gig, I ignore. In the meantime, let's focus on this CD, for it is a pure delight for the ears as well. In good tradition Batchas uses various analogue and digital devices and effects to create an overall atmosphere that is guenuinely dark, blending a ritualistic feel with ambiental noise textures, loops, deep drones and analogue pulses in a most enjoyable soundscape that evokes the myths of prehistoric man.Simply superb!

The second long awaited Cd (after many releases on other formats...) of one of the most interesting Swiss project is out now! Mystic soundscapes, drones, deep ambiences... This is the brand new BATCHAS and we strongly recommend it to all our customers because it will be surely one of the most researched title in April / May and maybe during the all summer... Who knows!
